As a newborn photographer, I have the incredible honor of accompanying future parents during a maternity photo session and afterwards discover their cute baby some days after his/her birth for a newborn photo session. Delhia is the adorable daughter of Marie-Claude and Pablo, that you already know from their maternity photo session in Lausanne. Delhia made the big surprise of coming some days before the due term and eveerything went well. She is a sweet newborn and so calm it was a joy for me as a newborn photographer to pose her during the newborn session.

Elise and Antoine make a stunning and beautiful couple that you had discovered during their engagement session in Lausanne. Some days after the engagement session, it was time for the great moment with their wedding that I had the pleasure to document. In fact, Elise and Antoine’s wedding was done on two days, the first being the civil ceremony in Pully, while the scond day was a garden party organized by the groom’s parents for everyone to enjoy this great wedding.

The meeting was in front of the Pully wedding room for the civil ceremony of Elise and Antoine. The ceremony was joyful and filled with emotions with Elise’s family coming from France for this event. Joy and tears, it was the perfect mix for a great ceremony and pictures.

Bubbles were waiting for the newly weds to get out of the wedding room for this magical moment in their couple life !

Touristic train in Lavaux: Lavaux Express

The bride and groom made a surprise to their guests so that they could have a nice idea of the Lavaux vineyard. This is with the small touristic train Lavaux Express that everyone got to the apero destination departing from Cully.

A small break was held to drink a glass of wine and enjoy the wonderful view over Lausanne, the Geneva lake and the Lavaux.

Apero: caveau Fischer St Amour, Chenaux

then, it was time to go back on the train Lavaux Express to reach the apero location in Chenaux where the view over the Lavaux region and Geneva lake was still breathtaking.

Couple photos

Of course, we enjoyed the wonderful scenery of the Lavaux vineyard to take some couple photos with beautiful sunlight. A gorgeous bride and a wonderful couple in love, there was nothing more needed for a wedding photographer to enjoy those moments of happiness.

Weddin reception : Café des Mousquines, Lausanne

It was time to go back down to Cully with the small Lavaux Express train and to Lausanne for the wedding reception held in the Café des Mousquines. A small apero was held before the guests went to the wedding reception room. The table decoration was done with finesse by Elise with special personal love quotes for each guest. That was a wonderful decoration that got everyone sharing their personal notes about love around the table.

Wedding Garden Party, Prangins

The day after, it was in Prangins that the wedding garden party was organized by the groom’s parents. As soon as you arrived on location, you could not ignore the garden party purpose! Everything was wonderfully organized so that everyone could enjoy the moment and celebrate this wonderful wedding. Children also got a wonderful time in this gorgeous garden, with music by Gerberito.

It is under a gorgeous sunlight in the evening that the maternity photo session with Sabrina and Cédric began in the Lavaux vineyards. I must confess, I love shooting in the Lavaux because it is such a wonderful place. Newlywed, it is a perfect and even more radiant than the sun itself couple that I had the great honor to photograph for this maternity session. And when I learnt that Cédric was playing american football, this became quite a big subject of discussion during the photo shoot. We also laughed a lot and I love when this complicity blooms with my “models”, this can only helps them relax before the camera. I can hide that we also easily found out which photo accessories would be used for the soon-to-come newborn photoshoot ;). But this is a new story that I will tell you when the baby will be there. For now, just enjoy this wonderful sunlight that we were able to get for this wonderful maternity photoshoot!

For this last newborn photo session, I had the great pleasure to meet the little Elio, 15 days old. Helped with his parents, I could make this newborn photoshoot. Elio cried a little during the shoot but his daddy knew how to calm him and make him sleep again. Parents are always a great help during those newborn photosessions and I love having them by my side for them to have wonderful memories of this newborn photo shoot that can sometimes make the parents stress out when they are afraid their baby won’t behave “well”. I always explain that a true newborn photographer takes the time to adapt to the baby and its rythm so that he/she feels at ease. Patience and sweetness are critical for a newborn photographer.

It is always a great pleasure for me, as a maternity photographer, to meet future parents before their baby’s birth for a maternity session. Here, I present you the first photo of Pascale and David’s maternity session that we made in the Lavaux vignes near Lausanne, Switzerland. Pascale and David will also be married today, it is therefore a pleasure to publish this first photo today! Of course, I will have the great pleasure to see again Pascale and David for the newborn photo session of their soon-to-be baby when he will decide to come in some weeks.

Engagement session at Chillon castle: Mégane & Maël – couple photographer

On the road, the storm just started. Hard to see something with such a downpour. I had prepared the umbrella for this photo shoot but I would have liked Mégane and Maël not to experiment their engagement session at Chillon castle under the pouring rain. Fortunately, while arriving to Chillon Castle, the storm stopped and after some minutes, all the humidity had dissipated. After-storm atmospheres are always strong and wonderful with a gorgeous light, as I had already seen it while photographing Christelle and Michaël some time ago for a couple photosession. This is how the engagement session got started. This wonderful couple breathes love so much, happy in life that easily translated into their photos. I had such a wonderful time with them both! I look forward to documenting their wedding in September in the Valais, Switzeland, and also meet their baby Keylan!
