Today, I offer you to discover a new newborn photoshoot made in Lausanne, Vaud. This lovely baby, you know her already because she was on the last family pictures at Geneva lake side. And yes, the small Olivia was still comfortably inside her mummy’s tummy. It has been some time since I published a photoshoot on my blog (nearly 2 months, time flies so fast!). It is not that I do not have any newborn photo session to show you, not at all! The thing is there has been a hugh amount of babies lately and I have been under the water capturing all those little and cute babies while they are “young” enough ;). I look forward to showing those babies because you will find them so cute! Every newborn has his/her own personality, even at this age and it is really always different to meet a new baby at every new baby photo session.
The best conditions for a newborn photo session is between 4 and 15 days after your baby’s birth. That is why I always recommend parents to book their session slot during pregnancy so that the photoshoot can take place fast after your baby’s birth when he still sleeps a lot and can keep curly positions easily. Yet, it happens that, for whatever reason, the newborn photo session has to be postponed. In this case, you just have to be aware that we may have more difficulties to get the poses you see in my portfolio because your baby will sleep less and be less curly. Still, I can tell you, we will make pictures as beautiful as before 15 days of age :)! As an example, we could not make Alexandre’s photo session before 1 month-old, but I am sure you will still love his pictures :).
